As the time drew closer for her to see Andrew, I could tell she was getting nervous and anxious to be on time. I loved walking into the hotel suite where the girls were getting ready and being greeted by Kaitlin’s huge smile and her sweet wedding day giddiness. And the light streaming through the massive windows was absolutely perfect for getting ready. Speaking of, I think I have a new favorite getting ready location! This suite at The Planters Inn was to die for! It was HUGE, so there was plenty of room for everyone + all your bridesmaids’ gear. This time, it was because Kaitlin was a bridesmaid in one of my past weddings, and a guest at another! And even more fun, both of those brides were bridesmaids at Kaitlin’s wedding! It was like a big Taylor Rae Photography reunion for me walking into their getting ready suite :) I’ve photographed Kaitlin many times before, which you know is my favorite! I love when I get to work with couples over and over again.
Two years after photographing their engagement session, it was such a joyous occasion to watch them get married with their family and friends surrounding and supporting them.
Kaitlin and Andrew’s gorgeous Merchants Hall wedding day was SO worth the wait! The love these two share has already overcome so many obstacles, as so many 2020 couples can attest to.
